Ways to Report a Claim
Report ClaimIf you need to report a personal insurance or business insurance claim, you have several options.  Use whichever option is most convenient for you.  But be sure to report your claim in a timely manner.

Direct to Us During Regular Business Hours

  1. Use one of our Preliminary Report of Claim forms (Auto, Home, or Business) to begin the process.  We will follow-up with you by phone. 
  2. Stop by one of our offices, Paul & Dixon at 388 County Street, or Stoddard Insurance at 4436 Acushnet Avenue, during our normal business hours and pick up any claims forms that are needed.  You may choose to have us help you fill them out right there in the office, of course.
  3. Call your claim in to either of our offices and we will begin the claims process immediately and advise you of your next steps.  Call Paul & Dixon at 508-996-8593 (Toll-Free in MA 800-785-8593), Stoddard Insurance at 508-998-3228.

Direct to Us Outside Regular Business Hours

  1. Use one of our Preliminary Report of Claim forms (Auto, Home, or Business) to begin the process.  We will follow-up with you by phone during regular business hours. 
  2. You can return completed forms or send correspondence by mail to us at Paul & Dixon, 388 County Street, New Bedford, MA 02740 or Stoddard Insurance, 4436 Acushnet Avenue, New Bedford, MA 02745.
  3. Fax forms, correspondence to us at 508-990-1784.
  4. Email forms, correspondence to your client service representative or our general email box .

When you call our office after hours, a real, live claim representative from your insurance company is just a few touches on your telephone’s keypad away.  In fact, about all you need to know is your insurance company’s name (we’ll help you with that, too) to get the ball rolling.

Here’s all you have to do:
  • During the phone greeting, press 1 to access the claim service.
  • You will then be given a menu of insurance companies from which to choose:
