Taking advantage of our annual insurance check-up not only assures you of having the proper protection but also ensures you are minimizing your insurance expense. What we DO NOT do...1. We will not use sleight of hand to artificially reduce your premiums. We have heard horror stories of people who thought they were legitimately saving money via an online or 1-800 insurer only to find out that the coverage provided was considerably less than they already had. For example: - including PIP and glass deductibles (we’ll take the time to explain to you what PIP is … and why a PIP deductible is risky).
- lowering bodily injury liability coverage with the explanation, “that’s all you need, and it’s cheaper, too.” It takes more than a five-minute telephone call or website visit to determine how much liability coverage you need and to thoughtfully compare your options.
- quoting a premium that doesn’t include the affect of all drivers’ driving history. Imagine the surprise when the bill turned out to be several hundred $ more!
- quoting a six-month premium and comparing it to the policyholder’s 12-month policy. That’s just plain fraudulent.
2. We will not treat the sale of an insurance policy like the sale of a used car. Too often it seems that online and 1-800 insurance peddlers pay little, if any, attention to the important protection you are purchasing and focus more on “what premium is it going to take – regardless of coverage – to get you into a policy today?” That is disrespectful and will not happen at Paul & Dixon or Stoddard Insurance. |
